God Bless Orphanage and PreSchool
House
My son William Roney and I made a site visit t Tanzania in May 2025. This was a great opportunity to see the site and house and determine exactly what needed to be done. The house still needs connection of indoor plumbing, water collection tanks and possibly some floor tiling which would be nice but certainly not a priority. While here we had curtains installed and purchased storage items – hooks, shelves etc. to make for adequate clothing storage.
The house is a 4-bedroom house and has two WC with one shower. It is situated on a very nice level plot with room for garden beds. Ayoub has planted several fruit trees. Arusha is a very fertile area and things grow almost overnight.
They have a few chickens which gives them some meat and of course eggs, There is an old shed on the property which could be converted to a chicken coop but needs work to provide security for the chickens. This is a project for the future.
Ayoub has now started to plant some garden beds which helps o provide vegetables.

Marco Meshack – School Sponsorship
Marco Meshack completed his A levels and began Pharmacy Assistant studies at college in Dar Es Salaam in fall of 2023. Marco was able to come to Arusha to meet with us. He spoke enthusiastically about his experiences at college meeting students from other countries, His English is dramatically improved, and he has an air of confidence which is wonderful. He hopes to assist Ayoub ad Angela in their mission.

Preschool and Orphanage
The rented classroom for the preschool is a large room situated a short walk from Angela and Ayoub house. It is perfectly suited for the preschool provided more than adequate space for a growing number of children. At the time we visited in May 2025 there were about 20 children. Shortly after the number jumped to about 40. The children receive two meals a day and follow a well balanced education program for preschoolers.
Although Ayoub would like to continue housing “orphans” unfortunately the available funding will not sustain this. Secondary school is costly even though there are no school fees. There is a requirement for uniforms and other clothing, books and transport etc. that will only multiply each year. As many of the orphans do have family and guardians a difficult decision was made to return them to their families . This will allow the preschool to continue and succeed in providing a great educational grounding for these children aged 3 -7.
