Lastly, be thankful for EVERYTHING! This includes thanking each person you have the chance to ask for support whether they say yes or no to supporting you today. Value each donation as a new partner in your cause no matter the dollar amount. 

Start to think about how you can engage your small donors to further bring them on board as the partners they need to be. Do you update donors regularly including lapsed donors? Do you have a frequently updated social media page showing the work your project is doing? Do you take the time to thank your donors directly and every time they give to your project?

Remember, every act of support, no matter how small can have a large ripple effect for your project.
