Drug Rehabilitation
There is so much to report and so much to praise God for regarding progress made at the Drug Rehab Centre in the Dominican Republic in 2025
Men continue to come to the Centre. A man with an addiction might come on his own, his family might bring him, or a pastor, a social worker or even the police might accompany him to the Centre. When a man decides it is his time to get cleaned up, the JTCE Drug Rehab Centre is a good place to come to.
The welcome is warm, clothes, shower, food and a bed are provided immediately. Teaching happens daily; meals are nourishing; Jesus’ love is clearly felt and modeled; weekly sessions with a psychologist are available as well as access to the services of a psychiatrist.
In addition to this the men at the Centre can learn a trade in the bakery and they also assist in sprucing up the main building and the grounds at the Centre. But above all, the pervading sense at the Centre is one of peace and health. It is a good place for men to heal.
