House of Hope
In 2025, The House of Hope continued to be a place of peace , training, outreach, and transformation for many people from around the world. Below is a summary of some of the impact made possible.
One major highlight was a training gathering that brought together people from 13 different nationalities , showing the international reach and unity.
Throughout the year, over 12 teams including 1 from Korea with 35 participants, came to The House of Hope to participate in various community outreach programs in Cairo. Another team of 30 people from a church in Mexico spent two weeks helping with a feeding program that served 100 Sudanese refugees. Teams also came from as far away as Australia and Hawaii USA to serve.
These teams, staying at The House of Hope, also reach out to an organization helping orphans, including those with disabilities, bringing care, love, and support.

Further, some of these teams, also partnered with an organization called African Hope, a refugee school serving approximately 350 children. Volunteers helped with English lessons, reading activities, and games. The children included many from different backgrounds, making this a valuable bridge of love and service.
Training and equipping remained a key focus throughout the year. Staff training seminars were held, along with a special course taught by a team of 20 South Africans on how to teach adults who cannot read.
A one-month “Call to Action” training course was also held. One remarkable story came from this program: a leader noticed a young woman praying with her friends on a boat in Luxor. She had come from China. After speaking with her, it became clear she needed a place to stay, and she was welcomed into The House of Hope. She later joined the Call to Action course, then completed another training course and is now planning to serve in Kurdistan.
Overall, 2025 was a year of lives touched, nations connected, refugees served, leaders trained, and people launched into valuable purposes, all made possible through The House of Hope.
