The Reverse Migration Project aims to empower women and girls in rural Philippines by creating sustainable eco-tourism sites, thereby strengthening economic sustainability and reducing the need for migration. This initiative was inspired by the experiences of Filipino women working abroad as caregivers and seeks to reverse the trend by supporting women to maintain land ownership and create local economic opportunities. The project will involve hands-on training in various agricultural and business skills, allowing participants to develop sustainable livelihoods. Ultimately, the goal is to establish self-sustained eco-tourism centers that provide income and stability for local communities.
