Remodel Haiti
REMODEL is a local organization whose main goal is to empower communities to fully contribute to local and national development. It supports Health, Education and Community Development programs in Haiti.
Following the earthquake last August, in the South of Haiti, REMODEL was able to launch a relief effort that changed the lives of hundreds of individuals and communities in the most affected areas. REMODEL provided emergency health services and distributed food kits. Moreover, instead of giving temporary tents, 20 families whose houses were completely damaged received corrugated metal sheets to replace their roof, which is more sustainable.
