Burundi Education Project
For the last two years Burundi Education Project activities were affected by Covid-19.
But financial support has been directed towards 70 student refugees in Rwanda where schools opened back in the 2021 school year. In Uganda, tuition fees and food assistance were covered during only two months of school from March 16 to May 17, 2021.
Now that all students are back in school, Burundi Education Project is pursuing its objectives of providing tuition fees and food support especially in the Nakivale Refugee Camp in Uganda.
Another challenge has been our limitations in fundraising during Covid-19. From now on, we plan to resume our full-fledged effort to gather necessary funds.
