We appreciate the services lendered during the above children’s education. Their journey has been as below;

Nakalema Marble, Lubega Living and Nsamba Ivan were picked up after their father abandoned them with their old grandparents who were catechists and their mother was just helpiutge family so she didn’t have support, Nakalema was in primary six.

In 2018, we have managed to sail with her up to last year 2024;when she completed senior four unfortunately before she could go any further her grandfather died early this year January 2025 and her mother died three days ago on 23rd April, 2025.

The brothers Lubega William and Nsamba Ivan were picked up in the same year 2018 in primary one and they are now in primary six (P.6).

“It was a challenge when the Grandfather died and the church requested the family to leave the land since their agreement was attached to their grandfather’s service”.

Katongole Godfrey is a brother to Ssekyanzi Joshua.These were picked after their mother ran mad after several beatings from soldiers during an operation on the lake where she was working as a fish monger.

Ssekyanzi was in Primary four (P.4) and Katongole was in Primary six (P.6). Now that Katongole Godfrey sat senior four (S.4) and Ssekyanzi Joshua joined Senior one (S.1) this year at Lukaya Seed School.For Katongole and Nakalema would want to join atleast a Tertiary institution.

Kimbugwe Umaruh was picked in a trench saying the mother separated with the father and he couldn’t stay home anymore,we nurtured him and put him in a foster home. He is studying but according to our observation he is good at skilling to classwork so we wish he could be better if he is given chance to learn mechanics.

Najjemba’s father got imprisoned by the soldiers during operation fish mongering so we found her out of school and roitering the village.

Certainly the three Najjemba Mukadde, Nsamba Ivan and Lubega Living’s major interest lied upon the porridge are during lunch time at Kiti Kasasa so we also appreciate the service lendered at Kiti Kasasa Primary School of porridge since 2018.
We appreciate so much.

In the past year of 2024, Greenfield Kids Foundation mainly focused on feeding program at, through Devxchange International Programs we were able to raise $9111.56 and this was spent on food purchase for kids, wire wood which we use for cooking. also we were able to install thunder arrestors at Greenfield Nursery and Primary school in order to protect children from being struck by lightning.

We have continued to seek sponsorship by forming associate partners in the United States and in Australia who are contributing towards a 2nd story on our Destiny Highschool, school supplies, school uniforms as well as sports uniforms. Our elementary school students all passed their literary exams and have graduated to high school, requiring a new dormitory for the girls. This has also now been completed which required the hire of a new school director to accommodate our growing community. We continue to grow with the help of many sponsors and are so blessed as we look back to see how far we have come!

In 2024, Love Uganda continued to face significant financial challenges, which, regrettably, led to difficult decisions including the release of some children from our care due to a lack of sustained funding. Despite these hardships, we remain deeply committed to our mission and are actively exploring sustainable income-generating opportunities to support our work.

Our venture into the banana farming business has shown encouraging progress and is proving to be a promising step forward. Additionally, we continue to invest effort into growing our safari business, with signs of renewed momentum on the horizon.

We remain hopeful for the future. Academic progress among our children continues to be a bright spot, and we are proud to share their achievements with sponsors who make this possible. With a renewed focus on creative fundraising and building new partnerships, we are optimistic that 2025 will bring us closer to realizing our vision of expanding and deepening our impact. Project lead Alex will be travelling to Uganda for a three-week visit to assess needs and opportunities on the ground.

Sonrise Baby Home has once again opened it’s doors to a record number of babies. The land that was purchased 5 years ago now and the homes that were built have been overflowing with goodness. From babies being rescued from abandonment, starvation and just malnourished to a land that is producing fruit, veggies and hosting livestock for meat and dairy. God has been soooo good! As we praise Him for all these blessings, we continue to ask ‘what is next?’ We are very grateful for Damali, the founder of Sonrise Baby Home and the lead hand in Uganda. God has made another need very clear to Damali and impressed upon her heart to help care for and educate pregnant ladies in her community. Many women die during childbirth due to lack of assistance or understanding of what to do and so Damali lifted this concern up to the Lord. Once again He has been faithful to not only place the desire on Damali’s heart to do something about it, but He has also brought the funds to build a maternity center for theses women. The foundation and main floor has already been started and we pray that 2025 will build the next floor and enclose our building in.
