At the start of 2020 I was in Ethiopia as the crisis of the global pandemic began to take shape. It quickly became apparent that the countries who would suffer most were the poorest ones. I am grateful to those who partnered with us in responding to this global challenge.

Our Projects
Food shortages, loss of income, lock downs, locust plagues and hoarding by the rich countries caused immense suffering in our projects this year. Most of our projects had to scrap their annual plans and switch to relief mode. At the beginning of the year, the whole world came to a standstill. The rich countries began pouring out trillions of dollars in relief money to provide a safety net for their citizens. The projects, and poorer countries where we work had no such safety net. This annual report describes how with your help we were able to cushion the devastating impact of a global pandemic to the world’s most vulnerable.
