- Review current Government of Canada travel advisories for your destination.
- Make sure you have adequate travel insurance.
- Confirm arrangements directly with your grantee contact.
- Keep emergency and contact information accessible.
While You’re There #
Use your visit to:
- Strengthen collaboration with the grantee team
- Review activities, finances, and progress
- Gather updates and photos (with consent) for future reports
- Complete the Field Evaluation Form if the trip involves project oversight
When You Return #
Please submit:
- Photos and notes for quarterly or annual reports
- The completed Field Evaluation Form (if applicable)
- Any updated budget or planning details
- General reflections or recommendations from your visit
Remember: travel for oversight and evaluation is a valuable part of ensuring transparency and accountability — and completing the evaluation form is what confirms that the trip qualifies as a charitable activity under Devxchange’s granting program.
⚠️ Important Note #
Only trips that include a completed and approved Field Evaluation Form qualify for tax-receiptable travel expenses.
This form confirms that the travel had a charitable purpose and oversight value under Devxchange’s granting program.
